Many times, seeing this type of natural decorative stone, we wonder what exactly this slate is? The name slate is somewhat imprecise, but it means minerals that were formed by pressing layers of stone under extreme pressure. It is worth adding here that slate tiles have been widely used, as a finishing material, since ancient times.

Slate tiles and their use in fashionable arrangements

Slate tiles can be successfully used, both inside and outside, to finish walls and floors. What's more, slate tiles are perfect for a terrace or as facade tiles. However, apart from façade slate, there are also internal decorative slate tiles that can be used in almost any room in our home. This applies to both classic projects, e.g. in a rustic style, but also more designer interiors. The second one will benefit from a visually attractive accent in them, e.g. decorative stone tiles near the fireplace, or as an original wall tile in a kitchenette.
